Red Bull engineers, like many other members of the team, have embraced the Texan style over the weekend.

Fourth sprint race of the season and fourth victory for Max Verstappen. However, the triple world champion does not seem to appreciate this format. Too bad, the Dutchman will encounter these shortened races twice during the end of the season: in Brazil and in Qatar.

Journalist: You seem to be a specialist in sprint races.

Verstappen: Maybe because I don't like them.

Lando Norris secured pole position in qualifying for Sunday's race, the sixth this season for the Briton.

Max Verstappen, second on the grid, could have stolen this pole from the McLaren driver. But the Dutchman was deprived of it after George Russell went off track just as the Milton Keynes driver was improving his time.

With his 17th place on the grid on Sunday, Lewis Hamilton had not started from so far back in a long time.

Hamilton: « Good Lord, that's very far »

The start of the main race lived up to all its promises. Max Verstappen bringing Lando Norris to the outside of the first corner, the Ferraris took advantage to infiltrate into the battle and it is Charles Leclerc who came out in the lead.

Young drivers continue to impress with Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto again in the points, finishing 9th and 10th respectively. The Argentine fans did not miss supporting him throughout the weekend.

Third victory of the season for Charles Leclerc who managed to keep the lead throughout the 56 laps. The Monegasque shared a few words on his social media: « Another one. The team has done an incredible job lately and it is paying off, I am so happy that we managed to achieve a 1-2. Thank you to everyone for the massive support, it is always special to come back to the United States.

After starting from the pit lane following damage to his car in qualifying, George Russell managed to finish sixth in the race. The work of his engineers to get his car back on track paid off.

Russell: « Thank you all for fixing the car. Dinner is on me tonight.
