Oliver Bearman will replace Magnussen for FP1 and the sprint qualifying
F1. Haas has just announced that its reserve driver, Oliver Bearman, will take Kevin Magnussen's place for the free practice and sprint qualifying of the São Paulo Grand Prix, as the Danish driver is unwell. The American team has not yet indicated if Magnussen will be able to hit the track for the rest of the weekend.

The Haas F1 team revealed that Oliver Bearman, its reserve driver, will take the wheel on Friday at the São Paulo Grand Prix to replace Kevin Magnussen.
He was forced to withdraw after contracting an illness shortly after his arrival in Brazil. This setback comes as he had just celebrated his best result of the season with a seventh place in Mexico last weekend.
Magnussen will therefore not be on track for the first day of running in Brazil, and his availability for the rest of the weekend remains to be confirmed.
The Haas F1 driver, Kevin Magnussen, will not take part in the Friday track sessions at the São Paulo Grand Prix after falling ill. Official reserve driver Oliver Bearman will take over. The team wishes Kevin a speedy recovery and will provide further information in due course, the team said.
His absence also means that he will not be able to participate in the Saturday sprint race, in accordance with Article 37.1 of the sporting regulations, which requires participation in at least one practice session to be eligible. However, if his condition improves, Magnussen will be able to participate in Saturday's qualifying, which counts as a practice session.
The sprint race on Saturday will mark Oliver Bearman's third appearance in Formula 1 competition, and his second for Haas.
