"This team reacts faster than ever" Esteban Ocon praises Haas F1
After a difficult start to the season, Esteban Ocon praises the impressive responsiveness of Haas F1, a team he describes as twice as efficient as those he has known.

After a complicated weekend in Australia, Haas F1 turned the tide by scoring points in three of the last four races, notably with a double top 10 in China and Bahrain. This slow start reminds Esteban Ocon of his own experience with Alpine in 2024. But according to him, Haas's responsiveness surpasses anything he has experienced before.
« I'm not going to compare the teams, but from my point of view, I don't feel like this team is small. This team reacts faster than ever in terms of parts production, solutions, and data collection. »
Remarkable efficiency despite limited resources.
With a smaller team than other F1 structures, Haas nonetheless manages to achieve more in record time. The Frenchman emphasizes the quality of the work accomplished. « It's wonderful to see. Certainly, we have far fewer [in terms of employees], but the work done is twice as significant. » Thanks to these efforts, Haas is now in fifth place in the constructors' championship with 20 points, an unexpected performance a few weeks ago.
Esteban Ocon particularly highlights the team's speed of adaptation, emphasizing its ability to react very quickly to identified problems. I have never seen a team come up with a solution in two weeks, in response to what was happening. It is extremely satisfying to work with such a responsive team.
A potential now unleashed
The Frenchman is pleased to see that the team managed to unlock the potential of the car despite a worrying start to the season. We can be proud! It was a great relief in China to realize that we were capable of fighting. It was a huge shock for all of us to find out that we were two and a half or three seconds slower than the others.
Faced with the prevailing skepticism, the Norman and his team remained confident. Many were saying, "It's over for their year" or "They will stay at the back all year" or "They didn't do an excellent job this winter." No one believed in it. We knew the car had potential. We just had to unleash it.
