Isack Hadjar « very curious » to see what he can do in a Red Bull
Isack Hadjar admitted that he « wouldn't feel ready » for a promotion to Red Bull at this stage of his young Formula 1 career, although he confessed to being « curious » to see what would happen if the management took this decision.

The Frenchman made his F1 debut with Red Bull's sister team, Racing Bulls, at the start of the 2025 season, after finishing as the F2 runner-up behind Gabriel Bortoleto, who is now with Sauber.
A good start to the season for Isack Hadjar
After a painful exit during the formation lap for his first race in Australia, Isack Hadjar, 20, bounced back with several Q3 appearances and finishes in the points, notably achieving a fifth place on the grid and a sixth place in the race on the streets of Monaco.
Given his promising performances and the difficulties faced by Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda alongside Max Verstappen at Red Bull this season, Isack Hadjar is regularly mentioned as a potential candidate for a promotion in the near future.
A transfer to Red Bull?
Asked on the sidelines of the Canadian Grand Prix about his feelings on the idea of joining Red Bull, Isack Hadjar replied: « It's a bit scary. I wouldn't feel ready. I'm just nine races in and it seems complicated when you see what Yuki and Liam are going through, who are excellent drivers. So no, I'm not very ready but I would always answer the call, that's for sure. »
He then added: « I am also curious. I would like to know how it would turn out. I would love to taste the highest level, especially since Max is in the other car. At the same time, I am thoroughly enjoying my time in F1 with Racing Bulls, things are going well, I'm learning a lot for the future, and I am preparing for that famous call. There you go. »
When asked if he would accept if Red Bull called him despite his doubts, Isack Hadjar clarified: « It depends if I have the choice. »
« I am happy where I am, but at the same time, as I said, very curious. I haven't really thought about it, as it is very unlikely to happen », he concluded.
Isack Hadjar currently holds ninth place in the drivers' championship after nine rounds, with 21 of the 28 points scored by Racing Bulls this season.
