On the contrary, the contract was extended by a year, and Rosberg will therefore remain with his team until 2009.<\/p>\n<p>With this higher status and the ever-increasing demand for performance, the German wanted more resources to fulfill his requests: \u00ab When we were in Asia for the races in China and Japan, I wrote a very long email to the team with the things I needed for the future, \u00bb Rosberg revealed to the Swiss magazine Motorsport Aktuell.<\/p>\n<p>He also insists that he must make progress on the track himself to be at the front of the grid more often.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I want to stay with them, \u00bb said Rosberg about his team based in Oxfordshire.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It is therefore necessary for me to have a better car. 2007 was a big step forward.
