Lewis Hamilton believes that the many difficulties encountered during his first season in Formula 1 can help him become a team leader at McLaren.<\/p>\n
Hamilton spent the majority of the 2007 campaign quarreling with his former teammate Fernando Alonso, while his team was also in disarray amidst the turmoil of the spying scandal with Ferrari.<\/p>\n
Despite these challenges, Hamilton still managed to finish second in the drivers’ standings. And with Alonso’s departure to Renault, Hamilton feels ready to take on a leadership role within his team.<\/p>\n
