Germany will start on pole for Race 1 while Switzerland will be at the front of Race 2. Great Britain, for its part, placed 5th and 2nd. Drivers&#8217; reactions:<\/p>\n<p>Mickael Ammermuller, in his second appearance in the A1GP championship, secured his first pole position for A1 Team Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Bull F1 test driver is delighted to race on the Chinese track, especially in pole position, and hopes to clinch victory tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We did a good job to get first place in qualification 1, and it&#8217;s an excellent result for the whole team. We struggled a bit in practice this morning [6th], but then we had a very good car and dominated the first qualifying session. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab The track got a bit dirty afterward and we didn&#8217;t manage to be in the top three, but I think it&#8217;s still a good result. \u00bb continued the German.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It&#8217;s better to be first in the first race because it&#8217;s a short race [16 laps] and it&#8217;s very difficult to climb the rankings, whereas in the second race, if you have the right strategy, anything is possible&#8230; \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9el Jani, winner of both races at the last meeting in Malaysia, is also satisfied with his qualifying in Switzerland: &#8220;We had good qualifying sessions, especially for the second race, but it&#8217;s very tight this time, and we are all very close. So much so that every small mistake can set you back three places on the grid&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I am very happy, despite everything, because yesterday we had a lot of brake problems and the team did a great job to get the positions we got today. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>At 23 years old, Oliver Jarvis for the Great Britain team is also having a strong start to the season and will start tomorrow in the Sprint race from 5th position: \u00ab The sessions this morning were quite difficult, and as Neel Jani said, the track doesn&#8217;t allow any mistakes.
