This is his very first investment in motorsport. The mining tycoon has decided to bet on Hitech for a possible entry into F1 in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Motorsport has always been close to my heart and I am thrilled to be concluding a partnership with an organization that has achieved success in so many categories and has such ambitious plans for its future, said Vladimir Kim.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are already involved in sports, but this is the first time we are investing in global motorsports. Its dynamic appeal, growing exposure, inter-business marketing opportunities, and expanding fan base align with my personal and business ambitions,&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n<h2>The objective: to enter Formula 1<\/h2>\n<p>This massive investment comes at the best of times for Hitech: the team has officially submitted an application to join Formula 1 starting in 2026. Its boss, Oliver Oakes, remains confident. \u00ab &#8220;I am thrilled to welcome Vladimir Kim to the Hitech group. During our discussions, we have found numerous natural synergies, and I know his support will be invaluable as we seek to build on Hitech&#8217;s success and work towards fulfilling its broader ambitions in the years to come,&#8221; he stated. Hitech aims to show the world of motorsport that it has the capabilities to compete with the best and become a world-renowned racing team.<\/p>\n<p>However, joining F1 will not be easy: other projects are also underway, such as Andretti-Cadillac or the team of Craig Pollock, who would like to be the first team in F1 to have complete gender parity.
