As he made his return as Red Bull’s third driver this season, Daniel Ricciardo is already thinking about his future. Speaking to ESPN, he talks about the dream of getting back behind the wheel of a Red Bull car to finish his career in a competitive vehicle.<\/p>\n

“\u00ab To me, it would be a true fairy tale,” the Australian declared. “\u00ab Honestly, the fairy tale ending would be to finish my career here, if I could do everything my way.”<\/p>\n

However, this return to Red Bull will not be immediate: Max Verstappen has a contract until 2028 and seems untouchable, and Sergio P\u00e9rez is tied to the Austrian team until 2024. The door that may be opening for Daniel Ricciardo could be with AlphaTauri, which is experiencing a difficult start to the season, especially with rookie Nyck de Vries who has not yet found performance.<\/p>\n
