The Honda engines will leave the blue and yellow liveries of Red Bull to find their place in the back of Aston Martin drivers from 2026. Red Bull Team Principal, Christian Horner, commented on this news that made headlines in the paddock this week.<\/p>\n
\u00ab It’s positive for F1 and positive for Honda who remains in the sport. They have a great legacy in motorsport. The relationship with Honda has been phenomenal and I am sure Aston Martin will appreciate working with them. We are, on our side, now turning towards our future partnership with Ford and Honda will become a competitor. \u00bb<\/p>\n
During the presentation of the new Red Bull RB19 at the beginning of the year, Red Bull announced a very close future partnership with Ford. The American manufacturer will thus come to settle in the premises of the Austrian team in Milton Keynes to be part of the Red Bull Powertains entity. A new approach that Horner does not hesitate to defend.<\/p>\n
On the long term, having the chassis and engine teams in the same place will make things easier for us. It’s very exciting and it’s something we couldn’t do with Honda. We will step up to another level with Ford within Red Bull Powertrains.<\/p>\n
