The training curriculum offered by FIA University aims to identify new talents from all regions of the world and accelerate their development in order to build a pool of experts.<\/p>\n
This year, the FIA is expanding its program by creating the “High Performance Program”. This is part of the overall strategy aimed at making motorsport more accessible and creating equal opportunities for participation and professional growth, announces the press release.<\/p>\n
The first edition of this initiative is taking place in Geneva from Thursday, February 17th until February 19th. It welcomes a group of 24 trainees [eight commissioners and 16 race directors] as well as FIA mentors who are assigned to their training. The 24 members of this program will then have the opportunity to attend various FIA motorsport events to observe FIA’s top officials who will serve as their mentors.<\/p>\n
As part of the “High Performance Program,” the seminar for race directors and commissioners, which usually takes place over two days, will be transformed into a series of webinars spread throughout the year, to meet the changing needs of the sport.<\/p>\n
The FIA states that all these novelties contribute to the improvement of training accessibility worldwide at all levels, thus supporting the FIA’s agenda on equality, diversity, and inclusion.<\/p>\n
