Alpine announced, during the official presentation of the A523 in London, the implementation of a program to promote gender equality in the integration of women into motor sports and ultimately Formula 1.<\/p>\n
Named Rac(H)er, this program will notably have a competition, but it’s mainly Zinedine Zidane who came to steal the spotlight from the future female karting and single-seater drivers selected in the program. Indeed, the Ballon d’Or and former Real Madrid coach has become the ambassador of Alpine and its program for equal opportunities.<\/p>\n
Laurent Rossi, director of Alpine, explained in the statement the objective: Zinedine Zidane is not only a great champion and a legend in the sport, but he is also a committed man who has decided to use his influence to inspire young people and work towards equality of opportunities. He is an example of what we must embody as a company: tenacity, talent, meritocracy, and commitment. It is a great pride for Zinedine to join Alpine and make a difference.<\/p>\n
Zinedine Zidane took the stage and notably explained in a statement that it is a story of encounters as always. I appreciated the vision and practical approach of Alpine’s teams, especially in implementing their programs for equal opportunities. And even more so, as I have a particular affection for Alpine as a Formula 1 enthusiast.<\/p>\n
