As in 2022, Alpine’s sponsor, BWT, took advantage of the launch of the A523 to showcase themselves in two different ways: one car in blue and pink, for the entire season, and the other completely pink, which will participate in several races this season.<\/p>\n

Attempting to express himself in French, Omar Szafnauer declared on the subject, “La vie en rose.” We won’t know now how many races the Alpine rose will compete in.<\/p>\n

These two cars hardly reveal the innovations unearthed by the Dieppe manufacturer, who will entrust his single-seaters to Esteban Ocon and his new occupant, Pierre Gasly, coming from AlphaTauri. The A523 has already taken part in a few testing sessions in Barcelona and Silverstone.<\/p>\n

She exhibits overall similar lines to her predecessor, but is generally more aggressive in her philosophy. The remaining question is what differences will set her apart from the final version, which will participate in the Bahrain tests and the Grand Prix on March 5th.<\/p>\n

The snout is a bit wider and also has a small opening, which will supply air to the floor. The pontoons, on the other hand, are quite hollowed out to provide the best flow to the rear fin.<\/p>\n

Some areas in carbon black decorate the engine hood, still as rounded until the top of the safety hoop. The livery remains in line with what was seen last year.<\/p>\n

The Top 4: a minimum<\/h2>\n

Before the presentation, Renault’s big boss, Luca de Meo, and Laurent Rossi, the CEO of Alpine, shared the good memories provided by the 2022 season, which concluded with a 4th place finish in the constructors’ championship.<\/p>\n

Both of them stated the same thing: \u00ab we want to be at least 4th among the constructors. But in the long term, we hope to catch up with the top teams and become one. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Pierre Gasly, on the other hand, unveiled himself in his new colors. He described positive sensations at the wheel of this car. Esteban Ocon, on the other hand, reminisced about his practice sessions with Pierre Gasly during their karting years.<\/p>\n

Only 17 days left until the start of the season and Alpine holds many hopes this season. Esteban Ocon expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress throughout the 2022 season.<\/p>\n
