The 51-year-old Spaniard will now join the Aston Martin team as a brand ambassador, but more importantly as a promoter of the F1 team. He will also have a role as an advisor for the junior driver development program.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I already know quite a few faces in this team, with whom I worked with Fernando Alonso when I was at McLaren and Ferrari, and I am excited to get to know those that I do not know, explained de la Rosa.<\/p>\n<p>I would use my experience and expertise to help the team grow and develop for the 2023 season and I would assist in marketing operations.<\/p>\n<p>Pedro de la Rosa will work with his compatriot, Fernando Alonso, who will be a regular driver next year at Aston Martin alongside Lance Stroll.
