It’s finally official! AlphaTauri and Red Bull have agreed to release Pierre Gasly from his contract for 2023, allowing him to join Alpine as a replacement for Fernando Alonso.<\/p>\n
“It’s incredible!” rejoiced the Frenchman. “It’s a chapter that comes to an end with Red Bull, 9 years of relationship, and a very good collaboration for almost 10 years now. For me, it’s a new beginning, a new adventure that I am embarking on with Alpine. A very beautiful story to come.”<\/p>\n
By joining Esteban Ocon at Alpine, Gasly will achieve something that hasn’t happened in a long time. It will be the first French team with two French drivers since 1994, with the Panis\/Bernard duo at Ligier. Therefore, communication naturally revolves around French values and colors.<\/p>\n

Gasly will come to replace double world champion Fernando Alonso at Renault in 2005 and 2006 in the Enstone and Viry-Chatillon team. A task that promises to be significant. Gasly sees it as a fresh start with progressive goals.<\/p>\n
