After a very eventful week in the world of Formula 1 with Alonso’s departure from Alpine to Aston Martin and the controversies surrounding Piastri, the week begins on the same grounds with two contracts that would be valid for him. These contracts would come from Alpine and McLaren, both fighting for the young driver.<\/p>\n
According to Auto Hebdo, the Formula 1 contract recognition board has conducted an investigation into the two contracts proposed for Piastri. These two contracts would be recognized as valid and legal by the board.<\/p>\n
Both contracts being valid, the choice will be up to the driver who will have to choose the best contract for him. But Alpine, who still believes Piastri should race for them, doesn’t want to leave it there and will do everything to block Piastri from joining another team next year.
