AlphaTauri has decided to violate the sporting regulations which require each driver to use only 3 power units throughout the season. By installing a 4th power unit this morning on Pierre Gasly’s AlphaTauri, it’s a penalty that forces the driver to start from the pit lane.<\/p>\n
However, the choice is wise. Pierre Gasly could only qualify in 19th position. Arriving in Hungary with his power unit quota already reached, they logically take advantage of this situation to unlock a fourth new engine and thus reduce the impact on his race.<\/p>\n
The power units are composed:<\/p>\n
