Pirelli will provide Hard, Medium, and Soft tires corresponding to the C2, C3, and C4 compounds. This is one step below the softest range from the Italian manufacturer.<\/p>\n
Each of the ten teams will have at their disposal two sets of hard tires, three sets of medium tires, and four sets of soft tires.<\/p>\n
This will also be the grand premiere of the new generation F1 cars on the Var circuit: their predecessors, with 13-inch tires, somewhat hindered the show, except for last year.<\/p>\n
According to Pirelli, the abrasiveness of the track will be moderate, but the lateral forces will be quite demanding on the tires. The introduction of the 18-inch tires this year could, however, change the game. As a result, teams, barring any incidents, could opt for a one or even two-stop strategy.<\/p>\n
