Charles Leclerc the most consistent<\/h2>\n

Charles Leclerc did not optimize his performance on Sunday at Imola during the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. Finishing far from the podium, he nevertheless limited the damage. On the other hand, reigning world champion Max Verstappen achieved a Grand Slam with a significant bonus of 8 points during the sprint race on Saturday. Setting a record for the most points scored in a single weekend, he is catching up to Charles Leclerc and closing the gap to 27 units.<\/p>\n

George Russell, who had left Australia in second place in the championship, loses two positions and finds himself in fourth place. Sergio Perez takes third place with 54 points and is only 5 points behind Max Verstappen. Carlos Sainz, in the second Ferrari, made a good comeback on Saturday to score a few points, but he got stuck in the gravel trap on his first lap during the race on Sunday. He is fifth in the championship, just ahead of Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton. Valtteri Bottas, on the other hand, is in eighth place, ahead of Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen.<\/p>\n

After 4 Grand Prix, three drivers have not yet scored any points: Nico H\u00fclkenberg, who replaced Vettel in the first two races, Nicholas Latifi, and Mick Schumacher.<\/p>\n

Red Bull is coming back strong.<\/h2>\n

In the 2022 Formula 1 constructors’ championship, Red Bull, with its one-two finish this weekend, made a strong impression and closed the gap to Ferrari to just 11 points, despite facing several races with technical retirements. Ferrari still maintains the lead, but the next race in Miami could see the leader change if Ferrari has another underwhelming performance.<\/p>\n

Mercedes, who was in second place, slips to third, already 31 points ahead of McLaren. Alfa Romeo is in fifth place, with a 3-point lead over Alpine, who is only in sixth place, and a 9-point lead over AlphaTauri.<\/p>\n

After 4 races, all the teams have scored points. This is a first since 2019. In 2020 and 2021, Williams had not scored any points in the constructors’ championship.<\/p>\n
