{"id":8011,"date":"2021-09-02T18:02:04","date_gmt":"2021-09-02T18:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.motorsinside.com\/en\/f1\/news\/25649-james-bond-promoting-in-london-aston-martin"},"modified":"2021-09-02T18:02:04","modified_gmt":"2021-09-02T18:02:04","slug":"25649-james-bond-promoting-in-london-aston-martin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.motorsinside.com\/en\/f1\/news\/25649-james-bond-promoting-in-london-aston-martin","title":{"rendered":"James Bond promoting in London with Aston Martin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aston Martin bought the Racing Point team this season and is logically promoting its partnership with the famous James Bond franchise, historically linked to the brand since 1965 and the <i>Goldfinger<\/i> movie.<\/p>\n<p>The movie <i>No Time to Die<\/i> (Die Another Day), which is the latest installment of James Bond, was supposed to be released in early 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of movie theaters. The movie will finally be released on October 6 in France.<\/p>\n<p>While a new trailer has just been released this week, another promotion took place in London near the <i>Battersea<\/i> power station.<\/p>\n<p>For the occasion, a life-size replica of a Corgi toy box, containing a real car, was placed next to one of the first coal-fired power stations in London. This box contains the famous Aston Martin used by James Bond in several movies &#8211; 8 to be exact: the famous 1965 DB5.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will notably have the opportunity to discover the machine guns coming out of the car&#8217;s front headlights. The shooting of the latest installment required the construction of 25 replicas of the DB5 to allow for the different scenes and stunts.
