It was not yet certain before the summer break, it is now confirmed. Sergio Perez is extending his contract with Red Bull. The Mexican will be alongside Max Verstappen for another year. After a difficult start, the driver has achieved good performances at the wheel of his car, notably winning a Grand Prix in Baku.<\/p>\n
Currently fifth in the drivers’ standings (104 points), just behind Valtteri Bottas, the driver is consistent in his results. While the gap remains significant between the two teammates, the Austrian team can rely on the Mexican’s experience to keep the team at the top of the standings. With Verstappen already extended until 2023, Red Bull is bringing a complementary and united team for the new era of F1.<\/p>\n
