Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Alain Prost and other great champions will have marked their generations with their world championship titles, but also with their numerous Grand Prix victories. Unfortunately, their merit is often more attributed to their race car rather than their driving skills.<\/p>\n

Schumacher and Hamilton may be the ones who suffer the most from this idea, indeed, they together have a total of 188 Grand Prix victories, and yet many will only remember that they won because of their cars (Ferrari – Mercedes).<\/p>\n

Let’s focus only on the victories achieved with a car that DID NOT win the constructor championship, we find Michael Schumacher at the top of the ranking with 32 victories. Out of these 32 victories, 10 were achieved at Benetton from 1992 to 1994 and 22 at Ferrari from 1996 to 1998 and from 2005 to 2006.<\/p>\n
