Arvid Lindblad took his first Formula 2 main-race victory at the Spanish Grand Prix. The British Campos Racing driver controlled the race from pole position, ahead of Sebastian Montoya and Richard Verschoor. The win propelled him to third place in the championship and enabled Campos to take the lead in the constructors' standings.
