The Vietnam circuit unveiled!
Hermann Tilke's company virtually presented the Hanoi circuit, integrated into the calendar starting from 2020.

Announced in 2018 as the 72nd Formula 1 circuit in history, this Grand Prix will allow Vietnam to host the pinnacle of motorsport for the first time. Vietnam will be the third Southeast Asian country to host a Grand Prix, following Malaysia and Singapore.
It is our colleagues from Motorsport-Magazin who had the opportunity to unveil the Hanoi circuit through a simulation video. We can discover a sector 1 composed of several semi-fast turns and a sector 2 including a long straight, extremely criticized on social networks. It will become the third longest straight on the calendar, after those of Spa-Francorchamps and Baku. Finally, sector 3 also consists of a series of fast corners.
Criticized by fans, this new circuit is actually undergoing the same treatment as that of Baku, introduced in 2016. However, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is now one of the most anticipated on the calendar, due to its ability to produce a great show, as evidenced by the 2017 and 2018 editions.
