The song “We’ve Got To Try” will accompany the premier category of motorsport throughout the entire 2019 season. This track, mixed by The Chemical Brothers, was teased shortly before its release with a 3-second remix that had a tempo of 15,000 bpm, thus alluding to the engine speed of F1 cars. Named “WGTT15000BPM F1 NEEEUM MIX,” this mix became the fastest in the world and will serve as the sonic identity for Formula 1.

The song from the British band succeeds Bryan Tyler’s, which, despite some success among fans, has been replaced. Unfortunately, Formula 1 fans seem to have mixed feelings about this new theme.

“We’ve Got To Try” will also be available on the new Chemical Brothers album on March 12.

However, the English duo is no stranger to the world of sports as they had the opportunity in 2012 to compose the anthem for the London Olympic Games.

One of the duo members, Tom Rowlands, expresses his joy about this new collaboration: “The technical challenge of creating the fastest remix intrigued us as F1 fans and musicians. It’s exciting to hear our music in the context of F1. The speed and intensity of F1 is a beautiful reflection of our music and live shows.”
