Technological security is underway
McLaren has signed a partnership with the brand MindMaze, which specializes in brain technologies.

It’s one more step towards safety in motorsport. After biometric gloves that allowed recording vital signals such as the pulse, it’s now the brain’s turn to be engaged.
This new technology partnership between MindMaze and McLaren’s IndyCar branch will enable the creation of MindDrive. This new technology safety platform will allow the team to record neurological signatures and communicate them directly to the medical center. This technology will be used for the Indianapolis 500 where Fernando Alonso will attempt to win the American event to achieve the Triple Crown.
The MindMaze logo will be visible on the Spanish driver’s suit as well as on all other team clothing.
The director of McLaren IndyCar, Bob Fernley, speaks on the subject: It’s an exciting partnership for our Indy 500 program. We have been admiring MindMaze’s innovative approach to neuroscience for some time. Combined with McLaren’s expertise on the track and a deep understanding of drivers and their safety needs, this partnership can be a real step forward in the safety of the sport. We look forward to starting our journey to the Indy 500 together.
McLaren Racing and neurotechnology company @MindMazeSA have announced an innovative and strategic technology partnership for this year’s #Indy500.
