Paddy Lowe towards a “temporary” withdrawal from Williams
Williams' technical director, Paddy Lowe, announced that he is taking a leave of absence for personal reasons.

There is a real crisis at Williams, and the bad news keeps coming. After a very complicated 2018 season, 2019 is shaping up to be a real nightmare for the British team.
In addition to management and financial problems, the FW42 seems to be poorly designed and ready to occupy the back of the grid. A two-day delay during winter testing doesn’t help Williams, who, on top of that, has temporarily lost its technical director. Indeed, Paddy Lowe announced he was taking a leave of absence for personal reasons. This absence is only supposed to last a few weeks. However, rumors suggested the British engineer was suspended after failing to make progress with Williams.
However, Lowe has an impressive career in Formula 1 as he notably contributed to the successes of Williams and McLaren during the 90s and more recently with the triumphs of Mercedes before joining the Grove-based outfit in March 2017.
