Tatiana Calderon makes history in women’s motorsport
By becoming the first woman to enter Formula 2, Tatiana Calderon makes history in women's motorsport.

The Formula 2 team, BWT Arden, announced that the teammate of GP3 champion, Antoine Hubert, would be a female teammate.
Indeed, the French driver will be accompanied by Colombian driver Tatiana Calderon. Both will be making their debuts in the Formula 1 feeder series.
The rivalry between the two drivers will be interesting to follow as while Hubert won the GP3 championship, Calderon only scored 11 points in the same series. This move to F2 was surely greatly assisted by the Colombian’s personal sponsors.
Tatiana Calderon’s promotion to Formula 2 is a testament to progress in the integration of women in motorsports. It is important to remember that the 25-year-old Colombian has already been able to carry out some tests in Formula 1 with Sauber.
The director of BWT Arden, Gary Horner, spoke about this very exciting duo: « We are delighted to welcome Tatiana back into the Arden fold. Her recent results in Formula 2 have been very impressive and I am sure she will be a strong teammate alongside Antoine.»
We welcome @TataCalde back to Arden for the 2019 @FIA_F2 Season! #LetTheSeasonBegin #DareToBeDifferent #ThisGirlCanhttps://t.co/OiTg9Kd7yE
