Alfa Romeo Racing has already taken to the track
As the launch of the new Alfa Romeo Racing will take place on February 18 in Barcelona, the Swiss team ran its single-seater today on the Fiorano circuit for a shakedown.

Alfa Romeo Racing surprised today when it shared photos of a temporary livery of its car on social media. This livery is a little nod to Valentine’s Day as it features the Italian brand’s clovers and hearts.
Thus, the former Sauber team completed no fewer than 33 laps on the Fiorano track, which usually serves as a private track for Scuderia Ferrari. It was Kimi Räikkönen, on his grand return to the Swiss team, who had the honor of participating in this testing day.
The other detail that struck fans is the shape of the front wing of this new car. Even though there were rumors that Alfa Romeo Racing would do something different from its competitors, this new wing truly stands out from the others. The wing flaps are indeed fewer and, most notably, narrower. It will be interesting to see if this technical choice pays off.
