Esports: Igor Fraga Wins the McLaren Shadow
The Brazilian Igor Fraga won the McLaren Shadow project aimed at putting the best virtual drivers in competition.

It is therefore Igor Fraga who managed to win against nearly 500,000 other contestants. In addition to the glory, the winner of the McLaren Shadow project secures a development driver position with the British team.
The last 6 candidates faced off on several games such as Forza Motorsport 7, Real Racing 3, Project Cars 2, iRacing, and rFactor 2. In addition to proving they were excellent drivers, they had to undergo physical and mental tests similar to those of real Formula 1 drivers. McLaren notably tested their skills in real racing with a 570S GT4 on the Dunsfold track.
The 20-year-old Brazilian driver is no stranger to motorsports, having finished 4th in the USF2000 championship in the United States and managed to win a race in Brazilian Formula 3. In the world of Esports, he also holds a title in FIA Gran Turismo.
Half a million esports racers entered, but last night we welcomed @1gorFraga to the team after his epic @McLarenShadow victory. 🏆👏 Congratulations, Igor! 🇧🇷 #McLarenShadow pic.twitter.com/s6fVf4Z9NT
