McLaren joins forces with OnePlus
The phone brand OnePlus and the Formula 1 team McLaren will form a new partnership to benefit new technologies.
After its partnership with HTC Vive, the creator of virtual reality headsets, McLaren decided to sign a collaboration with OnePlus, known for its high-performance and fast phones.
This new alliance aims to extend over the long term and seeks to contribute to the improvement of new technologies, which is one of the most attractive economic sectors of the 21st century.
Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, states: The OnePlus brand is synonymous with speed and power, two values that McLaren also strives to deliver with every car we build. Bringing together the inventive and pioneering spirit shared by OnePlus and McLaren is a strong statement of intent to leverage our collective strengths and innovate in terms of groundbreaking ideas and technologies.
A first event bringing together the two brands is expected to take place on December 11 at the McLaren Technology Center in the UK under the name Salute to Speed.
Note that a limited edition OnePlus 6T McLaren version will arrive in December.
