McLaren: new sponsorship with Coca-Cola!
McLaren has managed to secure a major partnership with the very popular beverage brand, Coca-Cola! It's a first in Formula 1 for the American brand, which has chosen the United States Grand Prix to feature on the orange cars' deflectors.

The iconic drink Coca-Cola will make its grand entrance into the premier category of motorsport with a renowned team, McLaren.
It is true that the Coca-Cola company had already been represented in F1 with Lotus, which displayed the “Burn” logo from 2012 until the team was bought by Renault; however, this is the first time that the logo of the legendary non-alcoholic beverage will be visible in Formula 1.
The contract for this new partnership only extends until the end of this season, but everything suggests that it will be extended for the 2019 season.
The Coca-Cola logo will be displayed on the car’s livery as well as on the suits of Fernando Alonso, Stoffel Vandoorne, and Lando Norris, the current reserve driver for McLaren.
The CEO of the English team, Zak Brown, is delighted with this new partnership: « Coca-Cola has a rich history in sponsorship and its innovative side. We are honored that the company has chosen to partner with McLaren to explore opportunities in Formula 1. Formula 1 as a sport is evolving, as is our team, and we look forward to showing Coca-Cola the potential that our team and this fantastic global sport represent. »
