Prost, Dillmann, Filippi, Sarrazin, Zhou: the latest news from Formula E
As the 2017-2018 Formula E season has only four races left, here's a round-up of the latest news in the discipline with MotorsInside.

Alain Prost sold his shares in e-dams.
Since the creation of the Formula E championship, the four-time Formula One world champion was co-owner of the Renault e-dams team with Jean-Paul Driot. However, the Frenchman has decided to sell his shares in the team to focus on his role at Renault in F1. His presence in the team was marked by success, with three consecutive constructors’ titles and a driver’s title for Sébastien Buemi in the second season (2015-2016). Know that from next year, the Renault team will make way for Nissan within the structure.
Tom Dillmann and Luca Filippi return:
The Alsatian driver, Tom Dillmann, will be present at the Berlin e-Prix as a replacement for Edoardo Mortara, who will be competing in the DTM (German touring car championship) for the Lausitzring round. The 2016 Formula V8 3.5 champion replaced Stéphane Sarrazin last year at Venturi for the last six races, with his best result being a seventh place in New York. The Monegasque team might also call on his services for the double-header in New York in July if Edoardo Mortara has to participate in the two Zandvoort races, also in DTM. This is not the only program for the Frenchman this season as he will compete in the endurance super season with the ByKolles team, as well as the Japanese Super Formula championship. Luca Filippi will also make his return at the German race with NIO after missing one race in Paris. He will reclaim his seat at the expense of Ma Qing Hua who competed in the Paris e-Prix in his place without much success.
Stéphane Sarrazin replaces Tom Blomqvist at Andretti for the rest of the season.
While he was hired as a test driver for DS to develop their car for season five, Stéphane Sarrazin will also return to the track starting with the next race. Indeed, he will replace Tom Blomqvist at Andretti for the last four races of this season. The native of Alès competed in the first three seasons of the discipline with the Venturi team and then with Techeetah during the last six races of last season. He will therefore support Antonio Félix Da Costa in the upcoming rounds. Apparently, Tom Blomqvist did not convince despite his status as a BMW driver, which will partner with the American team starting next year.
Techeetah recruits Guanyu Zhou as development driver.
The Chinese team, which currently leads the constructor standings, has hired Chinese F3 driver Guanyu Zhou as a development driver, who is also a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy. The 18-year-old driver will compete in his third F3 season this year with the Italian team Prema. His task will be to work in the simulator within the team.
Now that we’ve covered the latest information, MotorsInside invites you to join us next week for the presentation of the Berlin ePrix, which will take place on May 19th.
