A positive Friday for Grosjean and Magnussen
Haas drivers join the top ten at the end of the day's final practice session. Kevin Magnussen set the 7th fastest time this afternoon. Romain Grosjean climbed to 10th place during the session, despite an off-track stint which caused minor damage to his car. The Frenchman also suffered a puncture in the morning session.

The Red Bull Ring offers a track with few turns. Yet, these have led to some stylish maneuvers during the two sessions, notably for Romain Grosjean, who also suffered a puncture in FP1. Otherwise, the day was overall diligent and without major issues, with a total of 145 laps completed for the American team. Kevin Magnussen was the most successful on the timing display, achieving the 12th and 7th fastest times during these sessions, while his teammate recorded the 16th and 10th fastest times.

On the French side, the day was positive, with nevertheless a few hiccups, including a puncture during FP1 and several off-track excursions, particularly in the afternoon, which will require repairing the floor.
« It’s a good day overall. We had a flat tire this morning but a good afternoon. We have a few small things on the car that will require work tonight. But overall, it’s quite positive. »
“All in all, it’s been a very positive day,” Günther Steiner said after Friday’s on-track action.
