The actors of the premier discipline are certainly not idle at the start of the second half of the season! A week after a tumultuous Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, the trucks and cargo planes of the various teams covered the 803 kilometers separating western Belgium from northeastern Italy, to set up in the garages of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.

On Lombard soil, will Lewis Hamilton widen the gap again against Nico Rosberg, just a week after clinching a solid third place in Spa from the 21st spot on the grid? For sure, Nico Rosberg won’t let himself be outdone. The German dominated the scene last weekend: he will arrive confident in Monza, at a race he has never marked on his record. Will this year be the one?

Of course, the cameras will also turn to Scuderia Ferrari, a team that will feel the pressure for results more than ever for this home Grand Prix. Let’s remember that neither Sebastian Vettel nor Kimi Räikkönen have won races in 2016.

But also, Max Verstappen will be closely monitored, particularly his on-track behavior towards his opponents. No dangerous driving deviations will be tolerated in the “temple of speed.”

Among the tricolors, it’s a repeat with Esteban Ocon who will once again accompany Romain Grosjean on the starting grid. The Monza race might be the stage for the very first Sunday showdown between the Normandy-born driver and his Manor teammate, the German Pascal Wehrlein.

In France, as Canal+ is the official broadcaster of Formula 1, you will need to subscribe to the encrypted channel to be able to watch the race and other broadcasts and re-broadcasts of Formula 1. This is not the case in Switzerland or Belgium, as the RTS and RTBF groups handle the broadcasts.

For this Italian weekend, non-subscribers will note that Canal+ will broadcast the Formula One show unencrypted for 30 minutes this Sunday evening. Tune in from 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM.

Note: Regarding the replays, find the replay of the qualifications overnight from Saturday to Sunday at 1:45 AM on Canal+ Sport; and Sunday morning at 8:45 AM on Canal+ Sport.

Regarding the race, catch its replay on Sunday at 16:05 on Canal + Sport. There will be another broadcast on Monday at 11:35, also on Canal + Sport.

Finally, Formula One will be broadcast again starting Sunday on Canal + Sport at 8 PM. Second and last replay on Monday at 1:20 PM on Canal + Sport.
