Romain Grosjean and the worst race of his life!
The Frenchman didn't beat about the bush to describe his Monaco Grand Prix, which finished in thirteenth position, ruined, it must be said, by a Kimi Räikkönen in distress!

Romain Grosjean could have taken advantage of the Monaco rain lottery to make his mark. Unfortunately, everything went…
almost stopped for him when Kimi Räikkönen lost his front wing and his composure. Coming out of the Loews hairpin, the Ferrari driver carried the Haas driver with him in his misfortune. Completely trapped, the Frenchman had no choice but to engage reverse gear. We were then on the 14th lap and Grosjean dropped to 19th position.
« Kimi ruined my race: a guy who continues to drive without a wing, I don’t understand! » declared the unfortunate number 8 full of despair to the Canal + microphone.

« *I was at Massa’s level, I could have clinched the tenth place and the points. It’s all the more frustrating as all the conditions were right to have a good Grand Prix. I made a cautious start, avoided crashes… and then I found myself stuck with Kimi, forced to reverse and follow a Manor for 60 laps.* »
Stuck behind Pascal Wehrlein, his dreams of scoring points had long since vanished: « Impossible to overtake after that. Mentally tough to keep the pace and continue pushing forward. »
Let’s now bet that the North American air gives wings to Grosjean and his Haas team. Slowly but surely, the car is falling into line after a stunning start to the season. Formula 1 is not easily charmed by a newcomer…
