The Dutch driver is having a very satisfying season as he managed to finish twice in a very impressive fourth place, in Hungary and the United States. This is Toro Rosso’s best Grand Prix performance since the 2008 season and Sebastian Vettel’s performances, who also managed to win the Italian Grand Prix.

In GPUpdate.net, Carlos Sainz Jr’s teammate is not worried and believes he will be with Toro Rosso in 2016: « For me, it’s not difficult. The team told me that they are optimistic and that the ongoing developments are progressing well. So there’s no reason for me to worry. Will I be in a Toro Rosso-Renault? I don’t know, but I will be in a Toro Rosso, that’s for sure. ».

For now, Jos Verstappen’s son must defend his 10th place in the Drivers’ Championship, where he holds only a two-point lead over Romain Grosjean. He also has to watch out for Nico Hülkenberg, currently 12th and three points behind the Dutch driver: « It will be difficult to keep my position in the standings. Force India is currently very strong but, of course, we will do our best, we’ll see. »
