United States GP: The race live
Starting from 7:50 PM, join the Motors Inside editorial team to experience the sixteenth Grand Prix of the 2015 Formula 1 season, which will take place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin.
Here we are in the heart of the State of Texas for the 2015 United States Grand Prix!
Unlike the start of the weekend, the weather finally seems to be easing over the starting grid. We seem to be moving towards increasingly dry track conditions.
After a Qualifying session truncated by heavy rain (Q2 indeed determined the Top 10), the 20 drivers find themselves on the starting grid.
The main challenge of this race will lie in the performance of Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes driver has the opportunity tonight to win a third World Drivers’ Championship title!
For that, he must first get ahead of Nico Rosberg, who will start from Pole Position. The German driver is also under pressure; he must finally regain the upper hand and curb the attacking ambitions of his teammate and nevertheless rival.
Behind, we will closely monitor Sebastian Vettel’s race. The Ferrari driver could also prevent Hamilton from officially clinching the crown, notably by finishing second (if the 2008 & 2014 World Champion wins).
