e.dams retains Nicolas Prost and Sébastien Buemi
Nicolas Prost and Sébastien Buemi will once again be the driver duo for e.dams in this second season of Formula E. Both drivers express their satisfaction.

The news was announced this Friday on the official Formula E site: e.dams renews its confidence in the two drivers who enabled the French team to become constructors’ champions. During preseason tests at Donington, the two drivers were able to test the Renault ZE15. Last season, Sébastien Buemi finished 2nd, only a single point behind Nelson Piquet Jr.
The Swiss driver secured three victories in Punta del Este, Monaco, and during one of the two events in London. The former Toro Rosso driver is very happy to continue with e.dams: « I’m very happy to be able to work again with the guys at Renault because there is an incredible atmosphere, everyone gets along very well. Compared to last year, the team has grown because Renault will support us more. We have conducted promising tests, but it’s too early to say how things will go this season. I can’t wait for the season

Nicolas Prost experienced a less fortunate first season in Formula E compared to his Swiss teammate. However, he is the only French driver to have won last season, during the Miami ePrix. The son of Alain Prost is also pleased with this extension in the team of which his father is co-owner: « I am delighted to continue my career with Renault e.dams for this season. Stability is a key element in any team. Everyone knows it, and it is much easier to work with the same guys and in the same environment. After this test session, it will be interesting to see what we can achieve this year, especially with Renault’s new powertrain and after such promising initial tests ».
The second season of Formula E will begin on October 17 in Beijing.
