Formula E – Team names confirmed for next season
The FIA Formula E Championship has officially announced this week the names of the teams registered for the 2015/2016 season.
Here is the complete entry list for the second season of the Formula E Championship:
– ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport
– Andretti Formula E Team
– Dragon Racing
– DS Virgin Racing Formula E Team
– Mahindra Racing Formula E Team
– NEXTEV TCR Formula E Team
– Renault e.Dams
– Team Aguri
– Trulli Formula E Team
– Venturi Formula E Team
It should be noted that the Champion team of this first season, team E.dams-Renault, will now be named Renault e.Dams, which confirms the status of the French brand with the diamond as an official manufacturer of the “all-electric” series. Similarly, DS, the premium brand of PSA, has taken the lead in the team’s name following its agreement with Virgin Racing.
Also, the teams will make their public debut during the official pre-season tests at the Donington Park track on August 10, 2015.
