Jules Bianchi has passed away
A terrible news darkens the world of sports on this cruel morning of July 18, 2015: Jules Bianchi has passed away at the age of 25.

After his serious accident on October 5, 2014, at the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, Jules Bianchi suffered from diffuse axonal injuries and was in a condition that was more critical than stable. By mid-November, he emerged from the artificial coma but remained unresponsive. Five days ago, Jules Bianchi’s father, Philippe, expressed his little hope to France Info.
Jules Bianchi passed away during the night from Friday to Saturday, at the CHU in Nice, as announced in the official statement from the family « Jules fought until the end, as he always did, but yesterday, his battle came to an end. (…) We feel an immense and indescribable pain. (…) We want to thank the medical staff at the CHU in Nice, who treated him with love and dedication. We also want to thank the staff at the Mie General Medical Center in Japan who took care of Jules immediately after his accident, as well as all the other doctors who were involved in the fight he waged over the past months. Similarly, we wish to thank Jules’ colleagues, his friends, his supporters, and all those who showed him their affection during this time. They gave us the strength needed to endure these terrible moments. »
Jules Bianchi died twenty years to the day after another Formula 1 driver: Juan Manuel Fangio.
