24 Hours of Le Mans: Anthony Davidson Wants to Conquer the Indian Sign
Several times well-ranked, but never triumphant, Anthony Davidson hopes to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. Two days before the start of the Sarthe event, he openly displayed his ambitions.

The 2014 World Endurance Champion came very close to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans during his last three participations. In 2011, the English driver finished 4th, in 2013 he was very close to victory but ended in 2nd place, while in 2014 he completed the podium by finishing 3rd.
Sebastian Buemi’s teammate is convinced that the Japanese team is ready for this long race weekend; as he explains in Crash: « I am absolutely ready for Le Mans this year. I think winning the world championship last year helps because I know my worth in endurance. Obviously, you want to win everything and Le Mans is something I want to accomplish and put on my CV. It’s a challenge I want to take on »
No matter how high his ambitions, Anthony Davidson does not forget that the 24 Hours regularly offer their share of surprises, good or bad… « The 24 Hours of Le Mans is an unpredictable race, you can’t control anything. You can’t go in with a plan and expect everything to work out properly. I’m much more relaxed this year and we’re going to Le Mans as outsiders, so maybe this year it will be good for us ».
