Ocon in Force India starting tomorrow
Excellent news for Esteban Ocon: the French GP3 driver will take a seat in a Force India tomorrow during the Barcelona tests. He will replace Pascal Wehrlein, who is out due to illness.

Imposed by Mercedes on the Indian team, third driver Pascal Wehrlein will not be able to take his place during these private tests in Barcelona. Nick Yelloly, who was only scheduled to make his debut tomorrow, replaced him in the VJM08. On Wednesday, it will be Esteban Ocon’s turn, 18 years old, to discover the single-seater.
Last year, he took a seat in a Lotus at Abu Dhabi before leaving the Enstone team structure. The French driver, who was crowned in Formula 3 last year, is now part of the Mercedes fold. He is therefore being given a great opportunity to showcase all his talent.
The young French drivers are definitely in high spirits during these two days, as Pierre Gasly, a GP2 driver with DAMS, is lined up by both Toro Rosso and Red Bull.
