The Swiss team Rebellion has decided to bet on continuity for the first of its two R-One cars, the No. 12, as Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld, and Mathias Beche have been retained. Last year, they won the drivers’ championship in the LMP1-L category, notably securing five class victories, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

On the other side of the garage, the Rebellion R-One No. 13 sees its crew largely revamped. Andrea Belicchi and Fabio Leimer have been replaced by Alexandre Imperatori and Daniel Abt, with only Dominik Kraihamer retained.

« We are very happy to confirm our team of drivers for the 2015 season, » explains Bart Hayden, the Team Manager of Rebellion Racing. « It is nice to have a good level of continuity in our team. We have a good base of experience and speed with Nico, Nick, Mathias, and Dominik, who are all back with us. »

We welcome the arrival of Alexandre and Daniel to our team, and we are confident that they will be positive additions and will help us face the challenge against our competitors in the LMP1 category. We are a bit behind this year, but we firmly believe that our 2015 R-One LMP1s will be even more competitive, so we look forward to getting our cars on track soon.
