Adderly Fong, new development driver for Lotus
After making his debut in Formula 1 last year in Abu Dhabi, Adderly Fong has been promoted to development driver for the Lotus F1 team.
If he has never really shone in single-seaters, the Chinese driver seems to have found the necessary arguments to join the ranks of the Lotus F1 Team. In a season and a half, the Chinese driver has only scored two points in the GP3 Series, a championship in which he will once again compete with the Koiranen team.
“This is an excellent opportunity for my racing career,” Fong rejoices. “I will be able to learn how an F1 team operates during a race weekend. It’s an invaluable experience for learning the foundations of my future as an F1 driver.”
