Marlon Stockinger joins Status Grand Prix
Lotus-affiliated driver, Marlon Stockinger will participate in the next GP2 campaign with the Status Grand Prix team.

Status Grand Prix is a team that has not yet fully announced its lineup for the 2015 season in GP2. The team, previously known as Caterham, will make its debut in GP2 after multiple years at the lower tier, GP3. Although the purchase was made in the middle of the last season, Status Grand Prix agreed that Caterham could use its name until the end of 2014.
Stockinger raced in GP3 in 2012 before spending two years in Formula Renault 3.5. In 2012, the Filipino finished 10th with Status. Subsequently, in 2013 and 2014, he ranked 18th and 9th respectively with Lotus.
At the end of the 2014 season, the Filipino driver had tested another GP2, that of MP Motorsport: « It’s really good to come back home. I have many happy memories in GP3, especially winning Monaco. The team is based in Silverstone. This is where my European career started and I feel very nostalgic and very positive about coming back. I am very happy to be back with the team for my very first season in GP2. »
