Jerez Testing – Day 3 (morning): Ferrari ahead of Mercedes and Toro Rosso
At the top of the time charts, we again see a Ferrari leading, this time entrusted to Kimi Räikkönen for this third day of testing. Behind the Finn at midday are Nico Rosberg's Mercedes and Carlos Sainz Jr.'s Toro Rosso.

For his debut with the SF15-T, Kimi Räikkönen shows strong performance, recording the fastest time at midday of the third day of testing in Jerez, but the Mercedes, driven by Rosberg, is not far behind – only 4 tenths off the Italian car.
The Ferrari, however, is not the most diligent this time, with the Mercedes taking on that role again, managing to cover 93 laps, nearly twice as many as its best rivals – 56 laps for the Toro Rosso and 39 for the Ferrari. Rosberg, however, had to stop his W06 Hybrid on track just before 1:00 p.m., causing a session interruption due to what appears to be an engine cut-off.
The morning was barely disrupted – the drivers started the session with intermediates as the track was drenched – with another red flag caused by Felipe Nasr, who ended up in the gravel trap after going wide at turn 8.
On the Red Bull side, after some tests without a front wing the day before yesterday, following a mistake by Kvyat, Daniel Ricciardo was able to resume testing with a new front wing, but the Australian wasn’t very productive with only 5 laps covered, also due to an engine problem. The McLaren MP4-30, driven by Fernando Alonso, managed to run more than the first two days, even though it hadn’t completed a lap since 11:30 AM at the time of writing.
