Mercedes: Presentation of the W06 Hybrid on February 1st in Jerez
The Mercedes team has announced that it will unveil its 2015 car on February 1st at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.

The Mercedes team, world champion in 2014 with both constructors and drivers, has announced that it will unveil its 2015 car – named F1 W06 Hybrid – on February 1st, in the pit lane of the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.
The German car will be presented on the morning of the start of the 2015 Formula 1 winter testing season, and it will then be entrusted to Nico Rosberg, who will drive it on the first and third days of testing in Jerez. Lewis Hamilton, the reigning champion, will have the opportunity to drive his new car on the 2nd and 4th days of this first test session.
While some rival teams of Mercedes believe that the star-branded team will continue to dominate, Toto Wolff expects to see his drivers face fierce competition from the start of 2015: « The workload this winter has been more significant than ever. Last year, we were preparing for an entirely new competition formula, we now face the great challenge of our next development phase. We know we’ve approached the winter with a target on our backs for other teams – and we are confident that our rivals will be competitive from the inaugural race in Melbourne. »
The Austrian is also looking forward to seeing the new Mercedes F1 make its track debut: « We are excited to see the car’s performance when it debuts. »
