Toro Rosso: The STR10 passed the FIA crash tests
The 2015 car of Scuderia Toro Rosso, named STR10, has passed the mandatory FIA crash tests, as announced by the Italian team. They also revealed their schedule for the first tests of 2015, which will take place in Jerez, Spain.

The Toro Rosso team announced that its 2015 car, the STR10, has successfully passed the crash tests imposed by the FIA to run an F1 in private testing and during the season. The Italian team is the third to announce having passed the mandatory FIA crash tests after McLaren and Sauber.
The STR10 will be driven in 2015 by two rookie drivers from Red Bull’s young driver program, Carlos Sainz Jr (No. 55) – champion of Formula Renault 3.5 in 2014 – and Max Verstappen (No. 33) – who finished 3rd in the European F3 Championship. The car is expected to be unveiled in Jerez de la Frontera – probably on January 31 – where the first test session of the year will take place from February 1 to 4.
The team from Faenza also confirmed its schedule for this first pre-season testing session. It will offer equal track time to its two drivers. Carlos Sainz Jr will drive on the first and third days, and Max Verstappen on the second and fourth days.
