Vettel has become a better driver according to Christian Horner
Christian Horner, Red Bull team principal, discusses Sebastian Vettel's mindset, about which he has no concerns for the next season and his move to Ferrari. He also hopes that both Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo will rise to the occasion in 2015.

Christian Horner believes that his former protégé, Sebastian Vettel, will become a much better driver in the seasons to come. After a difficult 2014 season, Sebastian Vettel decided to leave Milton Keynes to join Maranello.
For the British manager, Vettel was not comfortable throughout the season with his car, as he confirms to Autosport: « I think it was a very difficult year for him, it has been a character-building year, in many ways. He had a lot of bad luck and things didn’t go his way most of the time. On top of that, he was not happy in the car with the regulation changes between the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He’s an extremely talented guy, and I think it’s the first time he’s had a teammate who challenged him as much this season. Again, it’s a different dynamic he had to face because he’s always had teammates he beat in the past. It was a tough year, but not once did he give up. I think he will ultimately use the lessons learned this year. »
The director of the Red Bull team believes that the team is losing a great driver who won 38 races in 113 starts between 2009 and 2014. For the 2015 season, Christian Horner hopes that Daniil Kvyat and Daniel Ricciardo will fill the void left by the future Ferrari driver: « Obviously a driver of his caliber and the amount of success we’ve experienced together is fantastic, so seeing Sebastian leave is really a shame. However, Daniel [Ricciardo] has fantastic talent, and we have seen how he managed to hold his ground against Sebastian this year. And with the arrival of Daniil [Kvyat], it means that the future is very promising for us » he concludes.
